The story behind Authentica.

Built to make healthcare video easier, more predictable, and more impactful.
Authentica grew out of its two founders' individual careers in storytelling—television production on one side, healthcare marketing on the other. They shared a deep belief that they could help transform healthcare through authentic, engaging storytelling—but there was a problem standing in the way. Marketers in complex, regulated industries were being asked to "own" video projects they didn't have the time or resources to manage.
What was once an arduous, hit-or-miss journey became something that marketers could actually depend on—and want to do again and again.

Today, that means more stories told, more clinicians reached and more patients accessing the treatments and innovations that can change their lives.

Robin Lewin will tell you he's a producer first. That he is —with an obsessive eye for quality and a deep commitment to making Authentica run smoothly and efficiently.

As co-founder and Executive Producer, Robin has spent decades ensuring that great ideas become powerful films— on time, on budget, and consistently above expectations. Where Beryt's team uncovers the story, Robin manages the big picture. As our EP, he's the person driving cross-functional alignment, operational clarity, and the kind of disciplined execution that has turned creative ambition into hundreds of award-winning projects.

Robin's roots began in music (in high school his band once auditioned against Van Halen — and lost), moved into radio, then transitioned to TV with roles at NBC, CNN, and in the edit bay where he gained the storytelling instincts and high standards he brings to every client engagement. That foundation, combined with deep expertise across production and post-production has made him the mentor behind Authentica’s emerging talent and the steady hand supporting our most ambitious projects.

When he's not running Authentica, Robin can be found skiing a black diamond, casting a fly rod, backpacking the wilderness, or curating his music sets as a DJ on Park City’s local NPR station.

Don’t let Beryt Nisenson’s friendly interview style fool you—she’s a four-time Emmy Award–winning producer who knows exactly how to uncover a great story.

As co-founder of Authentica, Beryt has spent more than 25 years helping MedTech and Pharma organizations communicate complex ideas through authentic human narratives. Her approach is rooted in curiosity and conversation: ask the right questions, listen carefully, and the real story will emerge.

That philosophy has guided more than a thousand video projects translating intricate medical science into stories that persuade, inspire, and resonate with real audiences.

Known for her ability to earn the trust and friendship of clinicians and patients alike, Beryt brings both journalistic instinct and deep healthcare expertise to every project—all fueled by her passion for helping healthcare innovations reach the patients who need them most.

She’s especially passionate about stories that sit at the intersection of medicine and humanity—and isn’t above running the occasional clinical detail past her live-in cardiologist (aka her fiance, Ben). Off the clock, you can usually find her mapping out her next getaway or chasing after her miniature dachshund, Daisy.

For over fifteen years, Ben has collaborated with MedTech clients to hone their messaging and to make lofty concepts accessible. Ben comes to work every day excited to inspire audiences with stories built upon authentic human moments and cinematic imagery.

He also loves geeking out about the technical intricacies of the latest medical innovations. When not producing, Ben can be found in a coffee shop writing his next short film or out on a hiking trail with his wife, son, and doggo.

Josh is Authentica’s “Air Traffic Controller” and scheduler extraordinaire. After winning several Indianapolis 48 Hour Film Festivals, he decided to give his time-management skills a real challenge by making sure all of Authentica’s planes run on time.

When he’s not keeping us all on our toes, he’s plotting backpacking trips through the High Sierras or cheering the Cardinals on with friends.

Whether he’s hand-animating a young patient’s daydreams to life, or turning a heart valve recipient into the star of an action-style montage, Ben brings imagination and care to every project. His fascination with the intersection between art, craft, and technology in filmmaking keeps him constantly on the lookout for new ways to tell the stories that matter most.

Starting his career as a musician and recording/mixing engineer, Luke switched gears to post-production and has been our expert sound mixer ever since.

He’s a strong believer that audio can completely transform a video and takes great pride in making viewers’ ears happy as they watch and listen to every Authentica creation.

Anna Giles got her start in the recruiting world 10 years ago while working for Strategic Executives Agency (SEA) in Los Angeles, finding new jobs for mid-level talent all the way up to the C-Suite. Since then, she’s started her own small resume-writing business and found work for folks at Disney, NBCU, EY, SONY, and many more.

Anna wouldn’t be an elder millennial if she didn’t also dabble in another field: production! She’s been lucky enough to write scripts for entities like Direct Supply, a MedTech company, Bravo (yes – that Bravo), Syfy, E!, and one of her favorites, Aflac (yes, that Aflac), scripting content for a social media campaign focused on childhood cancer. Getting to place top-tier talent with one foot in healthcare and the other in production is her bread-and-butter!
